...A beautiful vacation home in sunny Santa Cruz, close to beaches and full of laid-back luxury
Our cozy and freshly remodeled 1920's garden-style Bungalow is located in Santa Cruz's beautiful Pleasure Point neighborhood less than one block from the beach. Enjoy the backyard's private hot tub, and the Bungalow's fireplace, satellite TV and an automated Shiatsu massage chair. The full kitchen includes a dishwasher, coffeemaker, microwave, large toaster, blender, waffle maker, juicer, bread maker, gas stove with broiler, basic condiments & spices, and dishes for eight or more guests. Expand the dining room table to seat up to eight people, too!
This home has an open layout (which means our guests cooking in the kitchen can easily chat with people in the living room,) and has a queen-size Murphy bed in the sleeping area, a queen innerspring futon in the living room area, and two twin-sized cots that can be set up in front of the fireplace. The only door is to the bathroom (which includes a heated towel rack and other goodies).
Luxury amenities include local phone calls, firewood, use of a laptop computer & local internet connection, washer/ dryer and soap, hundreds of our videotapes to watch, games, paper supplies, local newspaper, linens, towels, and even fluffy bathrobes for après-hot tub. All are included in the price of the Bungalow.
One of the best surfer beaches around is a short walk away, or use our four bikes to ride down the coast to Capitola (only ten minutes to the south). This charming seaside village boasts a generous sweep of beach, sand volleyball, oceanfront restaurants, and fun shopping. To the north is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the coast's oldest wooden roller coaster and free world-class entertainers on Friday nights during the summer. The area is also surrounded by several state and national parks.
Our quiet street is more of a path with surfers, bicyclists, and strolling people admiring the beautiful gardens, including the Bungalow's.

Take a virtual stroll south and see most of the beaches from the Bungalow to the village of Capitola. Just click on the buttons at the bottom of the frame to see the next image.
Play croquet on the back lawn or Foozball on our regulation-size table, or throw a few shrimp on the large gas barbecue. Then dine alfresco on our four tables and six redwood chairs, or head for the sand with four beach chairs & umbrellas. We have off-street parking for two cars.
